Administrative Assistant

Edward Ssali is a Senior Library Assistant at Uganda Institute of Information and Communications Technology (UICT). He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science from Kampala International University in 2018.

Edward is actively engaged with professional bodies; he is the current ULIA executive assistant since June 2024. He serves as a member of the CUUL publicity functional committee since 2020 and is the CUUL Associates representative 2026 - 2028

With his 7 years of experience dating from 2019 at Kampala International University, Edward has acquired the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team. He is equipped with effective problem resolution abilities dedicated to maintaining high quality standards and can deal with administrative duties competently. He acquired a working knowledge of computer Applications especially graphics designing and data management applications in 2014 at Khim Investments and Graphics Solutions at Nasser Road.

He undertook research in 2018 about a study of the information seeking behavior of undergraduate students of Kampala International University in fulfilment for his BLIS at KIU.
